The site answers everything a client wants to know before the visit, and the booking is one tap away. Appointments are booked through Fresha, an online booking service for salons. ## The task The booking service handled the appointment itself, but not the questions that come before it: how much a cut or a colour costs, which stylist to go to, what the salon’s work looks like. The site had to answer all of that — and hand the client over to booking at any moment, from any page. ## What we built A site built around the questions people ask before a visit. The price list covers twenty-seven services, grouped by type so the right one is easy to find. Each of the nine stylists has a card of their own, so a client can choose a person, not just a time slot. The gallery shows the salon’s work, and there is a blog alongside it. The practical pages are there too: frequently asked questions, the cancellation policy, and a careers page for stylists who want to join the team. The booking button on every screen opens the salon’s booking service, and gift cards are sold there as well. ## What we did not rebuild The salon already had a working booking system. Building a booking engine of its own would have cost more and left the staff with two systems to keep in sync. The site leads to the existing service instead of replacing it.
