About us
We are a small studio of nine people. We have built 640 websites, almost all for small businesses, at an average of around $150 per project. We work in this segment deliberately and we know how to earn here without inflating prices.
Story
Why we are the cheap-website people
The studio began with two developers rebuilding websites after failed contractors. The clients were always the same: a small business promised a site for two thousand dollars, who paid a deposit and never heard from anyone again. Hence the name — almost everything we took on was a redesign of somebody else’s failure.
It became clear soon enough that the problem was not the contractors but the shape of the market. A full-service agency genuinely cannot build a site for a hundred dollars: they have an account manager, a project manager, an art director and an office downtown, and those costs physically do not fit into such a quote. So they either take the project and do it badly on leftover time, or sell the client something they do not need.
We set the work up differently: a library of ready sections instead of drawing from scratch, one person per project instead of a chain of approvals, a flow of 8 to 10 sites a month instead of one-off "unique solutions". That does not let us build million-dollar platforms — but it does let us build a decent landing page for a hundred and ten dollars and stay in business.
We are honest about our ceiling. If a job does not fit our format — complex logic, ERP integrations, serious load — we say so in the first message and recommend colleagues. Taking the money and figuring it out along the way is not how we work.
Principles
The principles we live by
Deadlines beat promises
Three days for a redesign and a week for a landing page is a real schedule, not marketing. In nine years we have missed a deadline eight times and refunded part of the fee every time.
We talk you out of extras
If a $30 redesign is enough, we will not sell you a shop. A client who returns a year later for a second site brings in more than one inflated invoice.
The site stays yours
No builders with monthly fees and no lock-in to the studio. Files, credentials and the domain go to you on first request — even if you are leaving for another contractor.
No layer in between
You talk directly to the person building your site. No manager retelling your edits to a designer in their own words.
We count enquiries, not likes
Before launch we install analytics and goals; a month later we look at how many enquiries came in. A beautiful site with no enquiries is not work we claim.
We answer for it after delivery
Two rounds of edits in the price, then $12 a month for support with backups. A site that went down and nobody noticed is our failure, not yours.

Let us get acquainted
Write a couple of sentences about what you do and we will tell you which format of site suits and what it will cost. No calls, if that suits you better.
