A website builder is a convenient start and an expensive habit: the subscription comes every year, the markup is closed, and the site cannot be taken anywhere else. Leaving is not hard — as long as the page addresses survive. Search engines know your site by those addresses, and if they are lost, the pages start from zero.

So a move begins with a list: every page, its address, its title and its description. The new site keeps the same addresses wherever the builder used normal ones, and every other old address gets a 301 redirect to its new page. After launch we open each old address and check that it lands where it should.

Who it suits. Owners of sites on Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy and other builders who want a site of their own without a subscription, and anyone changing hosting.

Common questions

Will my site drop in Google after the move?
Search engines know your pages by their addresses. If every old address either stays the same or leads to its new page with a 301 redirect, the rankings move across with it. We list every address before the move and check each one after it. A small wobble in the first weeks while search engines re-crawl the site is normal; lost pages are not.
How much does leaving a builder cost in total?
The new site plus the move. A landing page is $55, a multi-page site $75, and moving the content with the addresses kept is from $40. After that there is no builder subscription — only hosting at $3–5 a month and the domain at $10–15 a year.
Can I keep my domain?
Yes, and you should: the domain carries the history of the site. We point it at the new site and you stay the owner. If the domain was bought through the builder, we help move it to a registrar in your name.
What if I only want to change hosting?
That is a smaller, separate job: $15. The site is copied to the new server, the domain is pointed there, and the old hosting can be cancelled once everything works.
